Affordable, quality schooling can be difficult to find. At St James Lutheran College, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive community atmosphere in which your child/children can grow. Students receive the best possible start in life because they are taught to respect each other and to respect themselves. They are also encouraged and shown how to succeed in today’s technological society.

Each child deserves a school that prepares them effectively for their future through offering guidance, support and encouragement. At St James Lutheran College, we work in partnership with parents/carers to provide this environment. Each student is valued as an individual and is encouraged to develop to the best of their potential: academically; spiritually; and in the sporting and cultural arenas. We are in partnership with you and your children; your involvement in your child’s education is vital.

Dunga Derby

With fun and friendship, the Rally for a Cause Dunga Derby is a celebration of all that our recipients, participants, sponsors and many volunteers have achieved in just 10 years.

Rally for a Cause was started on the Fraser Coast in 2015 and since then the Dunga Derby event has raised over $3 million which has gone back into the Fraser Coast community to provide support to over 300 families.  

Funds raised by the Fraser Coast Dunga Derby will go back to support local Fraser Coast families who are nominated and approved for support under the charity guidelines and eligibility criteria.

Furry Friends

Furry Friends Animal Rescue Queensland is a registered charity run by volunteers.

Our focus is on rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned pet cats and kittens.

We don’t receive government funding, so we rely extensively on the generous support from our followers and the public.

If you’re considering adding a cat to your family, we encourage you to adopt a rescue cat from us. They bring immense joy and fulfillment!
