Surgical Suite

Nissen Street Veterinary Surgery boasts a dedicated sterile surgical suite. When designing the facility, a three-stage surgical preparation regime was fostered. This ensures that ‘gold standards’ were maintained when preparing a patient for surgery.

Patients are pre-oxygenated, induced and clipped in the treatment room. They are then transported to the surgical preparation suite where the body region undergoes an antiseptic scrub routine to create a sterile surgical site. Only then is the patient transported to the sterile suite to undergo surgery.

Our extended team offers all types of surgery from lump removals and de-sexing, to complex internal soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.
